Neurological Rehabilitation

Our multidisciplinary Neurological Rehabilitation team supports people who have suffered a stroke, brain injury or other new neurological event to regain as much independence as possible.

We can help you by:

  • Helping you re-learn daily activities such as eating, dressing
  • Helping you with swallowing difficulties
  • Help you with your memory and thinking skills
  • Teach you how to improve your walking and balancing
  • Help you communicate better by working on your speaking, listening reading or writing
  • Teach you about your health
  • Link you with other services in the community and help you cope with your day to day life after a neurological injury.

Each clinical service offers individualized assessments, therapy and health teaching during a maximum 12 week treatment period. We offer in-person, virtual and telephone visits.
