Health care providers in our hospital and throughout the region can stay up-to-date with the latest advances in clinical care throughout LHEARN's continuing education opportunities, including high-fidelity simulation. Our training, education and research efforts are focused on improving care for patients, their families and our community, making LHEARN a central component of how we support Lakeridge’s vision of “One System. Best Health.”

LHEARN is a home-away-from-home to the Queen’s University School of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine, where Residents benefit from hospital-based experience during their work with Family Medicine preceptors. LHEARN is also one of Ontario Tech University’s maxSIMhealth locations, the Tech3udcation Lab, focused on harnessing emerging simulation technologies such as 3D printing, virtual reality, and more.
