Welcome to LHEARN, the Lakeridge Health Education and Research Network, our hub for cutting edge training, education and research.

Every year, we welcome more than 1,600 students across a broad range of health disciplines as they pursue their studies in our state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of our expert instructors

Lakeridge Health has partnered with more than 80 post-secondary institutions, including Queen's University, Durham College, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and the University of Toronto, to train the next generation of healthcare providers for our growing community.

Health care providers in our hospital and throughout the region can stay up-to-date with the latest advances in clinical care throughout LHEARN's continuing education opportunities.

Students, clinical staff, physicians and trainees test their skills in our innovative high-fidelity simulation labs and challenge themselves with real world scenarios dedicated to improving patient care as well as clinical skills and teamwork.

To date, we have also been host to nearly 600 research studies and clinical trials across nearly every clinical program at Lakeridge Health.

Our training, education and research efforts are focused on improving care for patients, their families and our community, making LHEARN a central component of how we achieve excellence, every moment, every day.
