Indigenous Navigator
The Indigenous Navigator can offer support to you if you:
- Identify as having Indigenous ancestry.
- Identify as having First Nation, Metis or Inuit heritage.
- Have Indigenous cultural needs.
The Indigenous Navigator can:
- Help you connect with cultural and translation services
- Help you plan care that is focused on your goals and wishes
- Give you support before, during and after your appointments
- Help you get answers to questions about your care
- Help you and your family access care and services at home
Monthly Sharing Circles
Sharing Circles offer an Indigenous approach to health and wellness. The Sharing Circles are offered monthly at Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre.
Call 905-576-8711 or 1-866-338-1778 at extension 32554 if you have questions or want to set up a time to meet. You can also ask a member of your healthcare team to refer you to the Indigenous Navigator.
