Eating Disorders Program

We know that eating disorders are multidimensional, and that's why we bring a team approach to working with clients and their families or support teams. Our clinic is located in the community, not in a hospital setting, and we have specialized services for adolescents (11-18 years old) to adults (19-65 years old).

Our team is focused on helping our clients lead healthy lifestyles, supported by good nutrition. Our team of psychologists, social workers, registered dieticians and a nurse practitioner assess a client's family environment, nutrition intake, and physical health. Following that assessment, treatment recommendations are discussed with our clients and a treatment plan is made.

Because every situation is unique, every treatment plan is personalized and is focused on maintaining good physical and mental health. Possible services include:

  • Individual and group psycho-education and psychotherapy;
  • Family/psychosocial therapy;
  • Nutrition education and therapy;
  • Physical health monitoring;
  • Parent support/psycho-education for parents of adolescent clients

Referrals must be made by a doctor or family health provider who is willing to provide medical follow-up and management.
