Lakeridge Health Welcomes First Baby of 2021 Born in Durham Region

Durham Region – Lakeridge Health welcomed the first baby born in Durham Region in 2021 at 2:08 a.m. Little Bentley was born at Oshawa Hospital to proud parents Bryanna Kleinsteuber and Caleb Penton.

Weighing in at seven pounds, 14 ounces, Bentley is the second child for Bryanna and Caleb. His two-year-old big brother was also born at the Oshawa Hospital.

Bryanna, who lives in Oshawa, says she chose Lakeridge Health during both of her pregnancies because the of the high-quality and compassionate care she received.

Congratulations to this new family of four!

With birthing suites at Ajax Pickering, Port Perry and Oshawa Hospitals, Lakeridge Health is the eighth largest birthing centres in the province, delivering more than 4,000 babies in 2020.
