Volunteer
Adult Volunteer Recruitment is Now Open!
We are now accepting applications for adult volunteers (not enrolled in school) for retail activities (gift shops, Café’s, second-hand stores) and patient, client, and resident facing roles.
If you are looking for a meaningful way to share your time while connecting with others and helping to make a positive impact in health care for the community, we would love to hear from you. No matter where a volunteer serves, their involvement makes a real difference. We are asking for a six-month commitment and usually 4 hours per week.
We invite you to explore our How to Become a Volunteer page to learn more about the application process and what we ask of our applicants. Additionally, be sure to visit our Volunteer Roles section to discover the wide range of meaningful activities and opportunities available to those who join our team.
Please email volunteer@lh.ca as Step One if you would like to join our team or if you have any questions. Thank you.
All Student Volunteer Recruitment is Currently Closed
At this time, our student volunteer program is currently full and will reopen in Fall 2025.
Whether you are in high school or enrolled in a post-secondary program, we truly value your desire to give back to our community and contribute your time and talents. We look forward to welcoming new student volunteers in the future and are grateful for your interest in being part of our work.
Please check back here for updates, and feel free to reach out to volunteer@lh.ca with any questions.
