Lakeridge Health’s new Long Term Care Facility is opening fully this spring. We are seeking motivated and engaged community members to help build a new volunteer team in this new facility!

If you are:

  • Interested in making a difference in the lives of seniors who will reside in this new facility
  • Adaptable, like new challenges and are willing to help us develop meaningful roles in support of the residents, team members and fellow volunteers
  • Able to provide proof COVID-19 vaccination (including booster) and a current police record check (PRC) with vulnerable sector screening (Note: After a successful interview, we will provide a letter of conditional acceptance that you will provide the police department in order to obtain the PRC with vulnerable sector screening.)

Patient and Family Experience Advisory (PFEA)

PFEAs are volunteers who share their unique thoughts and perspectives to ensure the voices of patients and families are heard. They provide input to Lakeridge Health teams about programs and practices that affect patient care and services.
