Entering its 23rd year, the premier golf event in Durham Region returns on Thursday Sept. 13 when a full field of community and business leaders will be playing in the 2018 Mayors’ Charity Golf Classic in support of Ajax Pickering Hospital.
Along with a day of golf on one of the finest courses in Durham Region, participants will enjoy dinner, a live auction plus a demonstration of the equipment to be purchased. The Classic is also an opportunity for the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation to announce the recipient of the Howard Sokolowski Award, presented annually to an individual who has shown great dedication to health care in the community. A closely guarded secret, the recipient will be announced during the evening dinner portion of the event.
