Respirologist (Oshawa)


Respirologist

Located just 45 minutes east of Toronto, in beautiful Durham Region, Lakeridge Health Oshawa (LHO) is looking for a Respirologist to participate in the Respirology service model, with a focus on providing inpatient consultations, performing bronchoscopies, Pulmonary function test reading and establishing or joining an existing outpatient practice.

We currently have a position available for one full-time Respirologist to join a team of five Respirologists. Hospital based inpatient care (consultative role only) is shared among the group with home based call. Participation in General Medicine call schedule is not required.

Applicants must be licensed or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario with accreditation in Respirology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent. A strong interest in teaching would be an asset as Lakeridge Health is associated with Queen’s University and the successful candidate is encouraged to pursue an academic appointment.
