GENERAL SURGEON OPPORTUNITY

Lakeridge Health is currently inviting applications for a Full-Time General Surgeon to join a team of 9 general surgeons providing community general surgery. This position involves broad-based community general surgery and urgent surgical care opportunities, with an interest/focus in breast surgery including a high volume of breast oncology. We are part of a five-site corporation, in association with the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Remuneration will be based on the OHIP fee for service, with a HOCC on-call stipend. You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

  • Requirements: Applicants must have certification in General Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed in the Province of Ontario.
