Lakeridge Health Board of Trustees Seeks New Members

The Board of Trustees (the Board) of Lakeridge Health is seeking two members to join in 2020/21. As a group of diverse, passionate and committed community leaders with a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience, the Board is responsible for the overall governance of the organization. 

Lakeridge Health is one of Ontario's largest community health systems, serving people across Durham Region and beyond.  Guided by the organization’s vision - One System. Best Health - the Board’s role is to ensure the overall quality of care provided to patients and families while advancing improvements to the health and wellness of the populations we serve. 

To complement the Board’s current membership, priority will be given to individuals who have skills in the following areas: accounting, construction, project management, labour relations, volunteer management, legal and clinical. 

The Board is also guided by the organization’s Inclusion, Diversity and Engagement (IDE) Framework. Accordingly, preference will be given to candidates with specific attributes.  For more information about these attributes, please go to our website.
