Grade 6 Students Honour their Beloved Teacher by Raising Funds for Cancer Care

On Wednesday, January 31, grade 6 students from Seneca Trail Public School hosted a fundraiser in honour of their teacher, Ms. Lisa Ducharme, who passed away from brain cancer in 2015.

Students donated $2.00 to participate and wore bright scarves to commemorate their beloved teacher. Together, they raised over $365.00 for cancer care at Lakeridge Health. On Monday, February 12, the students dropped off their donation and had a tour the Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
