Lakeridge Health Foundation is seeking experienced community leaders to join our Board of Directors.

Ideal candidates are deeply committed to the mission and values of the Foundation, and have strong experience in governance through previous Board experience. In keeping with our commitment to diversity, the Board seeks to balance representation in terms of experience and background.

At this time, the Board is recruiting individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas: fundraising (corporate and individual), strategic planning, corporate governance, and financial and risk management.

Board terms are one, two or three years in length. Directors are eligible to serve for a maximum of nine consecutive years.

The Board meets six to eight times per year. We ask that each Board member sit on a Board Committee. Committee time requirements are determined by individual committees.
Preference will be given to those who live or work in Durham Region.
