The Palliative & End of Life Care Program at Lakeridge Health is currently seeking qualified Palliative Care Consultant Physicians (locum, part-time or full-time).

Located just 30 minutes east of Toronto, in beautiful Durham Region, Lakeridge Health offers full, part-time and locum opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team in providing and advancing our palliative care services. Palliative care services are delivered in a variety of service sites such as hospital palliative consult teams, community palliative on-call, home visits, Durham Cancer Centre palliative outpatient clinics and our 18-bed palliative care ward. This flexible position (up to 1.0 FTE) allows work in any or all of the settings including on-call services.

The Division is extensively involved in a program of Palliative Medicine education for medical students and rotating residents and has many active opportunities to conduct and participate in Palliative Medicine research.

Physicians must have current licensure to practice in Ontario with experience in Palliative Care. Physicians receive a blended payment via Fee for Service and on-call stipends.
