Outlook Online Information

All Lakeridge Health email addresses are changing from @lakeridgehealth.on.ca to a new, shortened @lh.ca. As part of this change, staff and physicians’ email will be migrated from April 24 through April 30 to Outlook Online, a part of the Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Steps for Accessing Your Email after Your Account is Migrated

On a Personal Work Computer

You will be prompted to enter your Username and Password. Enter your new email and existing password.
Note: Make sure to check “Remember my credentials” on your personal computer to avoid having to enter your password each time. For more instructions, see attached step-by-step instructions on using Outlook (for both personal work computers and OWA).

Using Web App (OWA) from a Shared Computer

After entering your usual login credentials, you will be prompted to follow a new link. Once you reach the new landing page, enter your new email address (user@lh.ca) and existing password. You may need to add new account and set up time zone etc. For more instructions, see attached step-by-step instructions for using Web App (for both personal work computers and OWA).

Accessing Lakeridge Health Email on your Smartphone

You will be prompted to update your mail settings to ensure that you continue to receive emails on your device. For the majority of smartphones, you will need to delete and re-add your account. Please see below for attached step-by-step instructions on how to re-add your account to your specific device. When you add your Lakeridge email to a personal device, you agree that Lakeridge can wipe your device if the device is lost or stolen.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time as we move Lakeridge Health to a more modern email system. For any questions or problems with your email, please contact the IT Service Desk at ext. 4357.
