We are excited to offer a practice opportunity in the Division of General Internal Medicine involving our Lakeridge Health Oshawa (LHO), Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering (LHAP) and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville (LHB) sites. Lakeridge Health has a full complement of medical, critical care and surgical subspecialty supports, available 24/7. You will be part of a collegial group that provides consultations to the ER and manages a busy medical/telemetry ward.  To further diversify your practice, you may consider joining one of the nearby well-established, non- hospital-affiliated clinics.

You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

The candidate will have ACLS and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in General Internal Medicine (or equivalent) and must hold independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.   The position start date is negotiable, however January 2022 is preferred.
