Lakeridge Health’s Board of Trustees Seeking New Members

Lakeridge Health is one of Ontario's largest community hospitals, serving people across Durham Region and beyond.  We are driven by an ongoing commitment to continually improve the services we provide to best meet the needs of the communities we serve.

The Board of Trustees is currently seeking new members to join the Board.  The Board of Trustees is comprised of community leaders with a broad range of knowledge, skills and experience.   To continue to build and strengthen the diversity of the Board, the Nominations Committee particularly welcomes applications from individuals with the following attributes:

  • Skills related to:
    • Institutional Health Policies and System Needs, Issues and Trends;
    • Health Professional Education;
    • Communications & Information Technology; and/or
    • Holds an accounting designation;
  • Is an Indigenous person;
  • Is a Francophone person; and/or
  • Resides in Clarington or Brock/Scugog/Uxbridge.

All applications will be reviewed by the Nominations Committee.  Applicants will be advised whether they are moving forward in the selection process, with interviews and reference checks to follow, or they have not been selected to move forward.

Successful applicants will be expected to assume leadership roles, participate as team players, contribute to the ongoing development of a regional acute care network and have knowledge of and be committed to the hospital and health care system.
