Radiology in Cancer Diagnosis

Radiology can be helpful in diagnosing cancer in several ways

Tumours can often be seen on standard X-ray, CT, MRI or ultrasound studies

These studies can show how tumours affect other organs and help to determine if surgical resection can be done

Radiologists can perform minimally invasive biopsies to confirm the diagnosis and determine the exact type of cancer
