Neurological Rehabilitation

Our multidisciplinary Neurological Rehabilitation team supports people who have had a new stroke, brain injury or other neurological event to regain as much independence as possible. If you think you would benefit from our services, please ask your doctor if a referral would be right for you.

We can help you by:

  • Helping you re-learn daily activities such as eating, dressing
  • Helping you with swallowing difficulties
  • Help you with your memory and thinking skills
  • Teach you how to improve your walking and balancing
  • Help you communicate better by working on your speaking, listening reading or writing
  • Teach you about your health
  • Link you with other services in the community and help you cope with your day to day life after a neurological injury.

Each clinical service offers individualized assessments, therapy and health teaching. How often you attend therapy appointments and how long you are in the program will be determined by you and your therapists.

We offer in-person, virtual and telephone visits.
