(Oshawa) Lakeridge Heath’s Maternal Child Program is looking for adult volunteers to sit on its Family Advisory committee.
The Lakeridge Health Family Advisory committee is a group of parents and/or family members who have had a baby born at one of the Lakeridge Health sites or have children that are using or have used the Maternal Child Program's services.
These services include Lakeridge Health’s:
• birthing suite,
• mother-baby unit,
• paediatrics,
• neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and
• child, youth and family program (mental health).
Their mandate is to be the voice of the community. The FAC enhances, supports and promotes high quality, family-centred care while positively influencing programs, policies, services and resources available at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, Oshawa, and Port Perry.
If you are interested in volunteering three to four hours per month, please contact Marlene, by calling 905-576-8711 ext. 3321.
